There’s a lot of diy projects that I’ve been thinking about and I would like to do in the nursery. I didn’t include a lot of explanation on this list but I’ll explain more of the whys and whats when I post how each of these things turn out. As usual this list is probably a little ambitious and it’s probably going to change as we work on it but here’s the starting point.
(2) Sew cushions for Poang chair frame. Update: These are finished. Check it out here. (3) Sew throw pillow covers for chair. Update: Finished. Check them out here. (4) Sew pouf to use as ottoman. Update: This is completed! Check it out here.
(5) Sew Crib skirt. Update: This is completed. Check it out here.
(6) Sew Curtains. Update: This is completed. Check it out here. (7) Make fabric flag garland for wall. This is completed. Check it out here. (8) Add monogram or letters above crib. The name is hiding for now but it’s hinted at here. (9) Make a mobile for above crib or dresser. Ended up using a mobile made for a baby shower. See it here. (10) Repaint baby dresser and change out hardware. Update: This is finished. Check it out here. (11) Paint Dresser and add rail for changing pad. Update: Decided just to paint the dresser. Check that out here. (12) Make art for above dressers. Update: This is finished. Check it out here.
(13) Make clothes hamper of some kind. Update: I’ve finished it. Check it out here. (14) Fill shelves w/ decor and art. Final view of shelves can be seen here.
That’s it for now. We’ve got less than 5 months to go so we better get started! Don’t forget to check out the mood board for more information.
Update: You can see the entire nursery reveal here.
